Crisis Nursery Volunteer Services
Volunteers at Crisis Nursery touch lives in many different ways. Every day, individuals help us provide an "island of safety" for the children of our community. Our volunteers fill a myriad of roles. Each one touches a child's life in a meaningful way. You can find our volunteers:

- Planting bulbs, flowers, grasses and vegetables in our many gardens
- Selling concessions at University of Illinois football games
- Folding newsletters and stuffing invitations
- Assisting shoppers at the annual Holiday Shop
- Sewing quilts and blankets so children have a comfort item to feel safe enough to fall asleep at night
- Serving as a Board Member or a community committee member
- Participating in cleaning projects
- Organizing fundraisers for the Nursery
- Sharing the Nursery's mission with others.
