Children's Crisis Care Program

Provides short term, nurturing care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to children birth through five, when no other resources are available to help.
   

Crisis Care

At this time, immediate response is needed to extreme situations where children are at risk of harm and assistance can not wait. There is no income requirement
 

Respite Care

When pressures build up, family violence can occur. Families are encouraged to bring child(ren) before things blow up, allowing family to resolve problems. Addresses specific situations and can be up to three days if needed. Planned respite is scheduled to accomplish specific goals.
 

Parents Once Again  

Assisting grandparents caring for their grandchildren. Can be immediate crisis or can be a planned respite. Crisis Nursery can help grandparents who find themselves in the role of the parents once again.

Shelter to Shelter

Assisting homeless families living in homeless or domestic abuse shelters or transitional housing while trying to rebuild their lives. Can be immediate crisis or one that is semi-planned (i.e., emergency surgery).
 

Welfare to Work

Ensures that parents who are attempting to rejoin the work force can do so. Offers two day care when parents have the opportunity to take a job immediately and need child care. Offers linkage to regular day care providers and Child Care Resource Service.

 
Every family has a different crisis, a different story and children in those families can be at risk of harm. Keeping children safe from harm's way and strengthening the family is at the heart of preventing child abuse and neglect.
