For those considering a gift to Crisis Nursery, there are several ways to do this. Many of these options offer financial benefits or tax advantages for you. Be sure to consult your accountant or financial advisor for specific information regarding various gift options.

Direct Monetary Donation
A direct charitable contribution may be made to the Crisis Nursery for annual operations or to our "Island of Safety" endowment.

Personal Gifts
For your next birthday or holiday, ask your friends to make a contribution in your name.

Memorial or Honorary Donation
A gift may be made in honor of a deceased friend or relative or to honor a special day or person.

United Way Contributions
Did you know that you can designate your United Way contribution to Crisis Nursery? On the United Way pledge form, you are able to specify which charitable organization your donation goes towards. Under agency, please write in Crisis Nursery for your dollars to be designated to our organization.

Wills, Bequests and Life Insurance
These are very effective ways to help ensure Crisis Nursery continues to exist. Please consult your financial advisor.

Day at the Nursery
Purchase your special day at Crisis Nursery. $1,800 gets you a purchase of a special day of your choice. An add in the News Gazette commemorates your gift.

Purchase a Paving Stone
Consider giving a memorial or in-honor paving brick to the person who has everything. These pavers cost $250 and can be inscribed with a personal message and then placed in our paver garden.

Champaign Mayor's Birthday Club
To become a member of the Mayor’s Birthday Club, all you need to do is enroll.Then ask your friends to send a donation to Crisis Nursery instead of buying you the “usual party gifts” at your next birthday party.
As a member of the Mayor’s Birthday Club, you will be giving up getting those little gifts from your pals, but you will not give up the cool, fun birthday party with your friends. Also, your family will still get you a really nice present. Once a year, we will have a cool Mayor’s Birthday Party honoring YOU for your generosity toward others!
