The Andersons 2016 Golf Benefit for Kids
- Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 8:00am
- Stone Creek Golf Course, 2600 S. Stone Creek, Urbana
Head to the green for great morning benefiting Crisis Nursery and Earth Partners! Shotgun/scramble start at 8:00 with a catered meal following the event. Golf Fee: $100 (4 golfers per team). Fees include: 18 holes of golf + half a cart, unlimited range balls at 7:00am, 1st and 2nd place team prizes (plus other prizes).***Hole-in-one of the 3rd hole wins a car*** Click here to download a registration form.

For her 2016 racing season, Sabreena Ekstrom has partnered with Crisis Nursery as her charity partner. Throughout the season, she is donating a portion of her race winnings to the Nursery, and she's helping raise awareness about the Nursery by placing our logo on her race car!

Dress Down to Stand Up for Kids
Throughout the year, businesses and schools in the community are dressing down and raising money for Crisis Nursery. For a suggested $5 donation, participants can dress down for the day - jeans day, pajama day, jersey day, funky hat day, etc. - and wear a sticker to show support for Crisis Nursery. Since inception in 2013, this fun, easy program has raised nearly $25,000 for Crisis Nursery. Thank you to everyone in the community for your support for this fun program! Third Party Fundraiser Guidelines

A third-party fundraising event is any activity by a non-affiliated group or individual where Crisis Nursery has no fiduciary responsibility and little or no staff involvement. A third party fundraiser is an outside group or individual that wishes to hold a promotion, event, or sale to benefit Crisis Nursery. 
Third party fundraisers are a great way to collect money and goods to donate to the Nursery. We are grateful for dollars raised through events – they helped us raise more than $58,000 in fiscal year 2010! Crisis Nursery encourages third party fundraisers (i.e. golf outings, marathons, sales and donations benefitting the Nursery, etc).

If you have an idea or plan for an event that will benefit Crisis Nursery, contact Special Events & Marketing Coordinator Renae Kirkton to discuss your idea. We ask that all events are approved by Crisis Nursery in advance. This is an important safeguard to preserving the integrity of the Crisis Nursery name and our commitment to raise the necessary funds to fulfill our mission in a cost-effective and efficient manner.  Together, we will discuss your plan and provide guidance for success. Please review our Third Party Fundraiser Guidelines and Agreement. This document will need to be signed in order to move forward with your event 

Because of the volume of these requests, we cannot personally participate in each event that is proposed but will provide materials for your event about Crisis Nursery and the services we provide. As a reminder - please do not move forward with your plans until you have discussed your idea for a third party fundraiser with Special Events Coordinator.
