Program Director oversees the daily operation of all Crisis Nursery programs, including the Safe Children, Strong Families, and Volunteer programs. Hires, orients, evaluates, and develops staff, volunteers and interns. Performs administrative duties related to programming, including grant reports, statistical analysis and program evaluation. Represents the Nursery in the community through speaking engagements, special events, and presentations. Reports to Executive Director and supervises Crisis Advocates, Lead Children’s Specialists, Children’s Specialists, Family Specialists, Volunteer & Data Coordinator, and Program Interns.
Successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or related human service field. 3 years experience working with children required, 2 years institutional/educational or residential group care programs or equivalent preferred.
